We extend invitation to Lithuanians around the globe, as well as students, lecturers, and researchers from foreign higher education institutions, to immerse yourselves in the rich tapestry of Lithuania this summer. Our Lithuanian Language and Culture Course offers a unique opportunity to learn Lithuanian, delve into the captivating culture and history of Lithuania and Kaunas, and connect with participants from every corner of the world.

Location: Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius University

• Hands-on activities, including culinary experiences to savour and create Lithuanian delicacies
• Immersion in Lithuanian ethnic culture through music and dance with the folklore ensemble Uosinta.

Exploring Kaunas:

• Visit the Courtyard Gallery (Kiemo galerija) and uncover the hidden stories behind its murals with insights from its founder, Vytenis Jakas.
• Discover the poetic world of Maironis at his home museum.
• Explore the legacy of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, a renowned Lithuanian artist and composer, at his dedicated museum.
• Marvel at the exceptional buildings of Kaunas' interwar architecture (1919-1939), recognized on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
• Join us on this enriching journey of language, culture, and camaraderie. Together, we will create lasting memories and forge connections that transcend borders.

Course Fees: free of charge

The participant approved for Lithuanian language and culture course will receive a scholarship (~825 EUR).
