Dr. Anna-Maija Lämsä is a professor of human resource management with her scientific interests encompassing ethical management, leadership and organisational aspects, organisational reliance, social responsibility of companies, leader career (also, career from gender perspective), women leadership and development of leaders. The professor carries out research in various socio-cultural contexts, e.g. Finland, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, China. Her articles have been publishes in international journals such as Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Scandinavian Journal of Management, Business Ethics: A European Review, Baltic Journal of Management, Gender in Management: An International Journal, Journal of Workplace Learning and Leadership & Organization Development Journal. Anna-Maija Lämsä is the author of 3 textbooks in Finland, for one of which she has received an award from a prestigious publishing house Edita. The professor has been elected the best lecturer at the Jyväskylä University for several years. She is an active member of social initiatives and is a member-shareholder of social initiative Women’s Bank.
