INFORMATION ON THE STUDY PROCESS FOR THE 2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR

Dear students,

Congratulations to those of you who have become part of the Vilnius University Kaunas Faculty community this year! Hopefully, the studies you have chosen will pave a path not only for your professional growth, but also for your personal development.

We would also like to congratulate all of our higher-course students and encourage them to continue discussing their ideas and exchanging knowledge in the 2022-2023 academic year, so that they become outstanding experts in their field.

START OF STUDIES

Information about the events to start the academic year will be announced by 26 August on the VU Kaunas Faculty Facebook page and the Kaunas Faculty website.

First-year Bachelor students start their studies (lectures, seminars, etc.) on 5 September.

Second, third and fourth-year Bachelor students, as well as all Master students start their studies on 2 September.

THE STUDIES AT VU KnF FOR THE 2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR WILL BE CONDUCTED AS FOLLOWS:

BACHELOR STUDIES (lectures, seminars, etc.) will be held in person.

  • General University Studies (GUS) Modules will be held both in person and remotely (timetables: https://tvarkarasciai.vu.lt/knf/list/).
  • Students of the Bachelor study programme Information Systems and Cyber Security (in English) unable to arrive to Lithuania due to migration issues (and who have submitted documents supporting the reason to the Study Department) may attend the classes (lectures, seminars, etc.) remotely in real time (i.e. as scheduled in the timetables: https://tvarkarasciai.vu.lt/knf/). Video recordings of the lectures are not going to be available.

MASTER STUDIES (lectures, seminars, etc.) will be held in person and / or in hybrid mode and / or remotely based on the decisions made by the Study Programme Committees.

  1. The initial classes for Master students will be held in person. Hybrid and / or remote study elements may be incorporated in the Master studies by decision of the Study Programme Committees after the first classes for the modules have been held, as scheduled in the timetables (https://tvarkarasciai.vu.lt/knf/). The students are going to be informed about such decisions by the Study Programme Committees or the lecturers.
  2. Mid-term and final examinations for Master students are going to be held in person at the Faculty.
  3. Students of the Master study programme International Business Management (in English) unable to arrive to Lithuania due to migration issues (and who have submitted documents supporting the reason to the Study Department) may attend the studies (lectures, seminars, etc.) remotely in real time (i.e. as scheduled in the timetables: https://tvarkarasciai.vu.lt/knf/). Video recordings of the lectures are not going to be available.
