For first-year bachelor students
Programme for 1 September:
To begin with, we are going to celebrate the start of the academic year on 1 September, 11:00 AM at the Kaunas Lutheran Holy Trinity Church (Muitinės street 8a, entrance from the courtyard of the Faculty).
Afterwards, students are invited to continue the celebration in Vilnius, where they will participate in a student march and the annual RENOVATIO STUDIORUM ceremony at the Grand Courtyard of VU. The bus to Vilnius leaves at 12:15 PM from the Vytautas the Great Church (Aleksoto street 3, Kaunas). The bus back to Kaunas leaves at 4:45 PM (16:45 EEST). 10:00 AM - discussion with the Kaunas Faculty Dean Assist. Prof. Kęstutis Driaunys, the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs Professor Daiva Aliūkaitė and the Chair of the KnF Students' Representation Lijana Savickienė (V. Gronsko auditorium, Muitinės street 6, Building No. II).
12:15 PM - tour of the Faculty guided by the Head of KnF Public Relations Department Andrius Nenėnas (tour starts outside at the Linden courtyard, in front of Building No. III).
2:30 PM (14:30 EEST) - meeting with the head of your study programme Assoc. Prof. Vytautas Evaldas Rudžionis (Gronsko auditorium, Muitinės street 6, Building No. 6).
