Invitation to “Computer Systems: Past, Present and Future” – a series of lectures by Dr Rimas Vaišnys
On 11, 16 and 18 November the VU Kaunas Faculty is going to host a series of lectures by Dr Rimas Vaišnys for students of the Bachelor programme Information Systems and Cyber Security. The lectures are going to be held in English.

Lectures:
- November at 12:00 – Conventional Computer Physics. The lecture is going to take place at the computer room No. XIII, during Prof. Dr Audrius Lopata’s class.
- November at 12:00 – Programming and Virtual System Development. The lecture is going to take place at the computer room No. XIII, during Prof. Dr Dalia Krikščiūnienė’s class.
- November at 12:00 – Computer Systems of the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing. The lecture is going to take place at the computer room No. XIII, during Prof. Dr Audrius Lopata’s class.
On 1 November we will be celebrating All Saints' Day. The eve of the Day of the Dead makes us think about the cyclical nature of life and death. And although death is a natural part of life, it is not easy to come to terms with it. However, I wish all of you and your loved ones, including those of you who have survived the deaths of your loved ones as a result of the war in Ukraine, to find comfort within your soul and inner strength in the most difficult moments.
